What Are Powder Brows?
Powder brows are a permanent make-up for the eyebrows. With a very fine needle, pigment is placed dot by dot into the top layer of the skin. This creates a soft, powdery shade, similar to brow powder, but without smudging.
Unlike microblading, no individual hairs are drawn – the brow is softly shaded instead. That makes the result look soft, and it suits every skin type, including oily, combination and mature skin.

How the Treatment Works
- ConsultationWe talk about your wishes, the right shape and the shade. If you’re still unsure, you can also book the consultation (30 minutes) separately.
- Pre-drawingThe shape is adapted to your face. I only start once you are happy with the drawing.
- PigmentationThe brow is shaded layer by layer. Most clients describe it as a light scratching, not as pain.
- HealingFor the first few days the brows look darker and stronger. Over about 7 to 10 days they become lighter and softer.
- Touch-up after 6–8 weeksAt the second appointment the shape and colour are perfected, so the result stays beautiful for a long time.
Good to Know
Please let me know before booking if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take blood-thinning medication or have a skin condition in the brow area. Then we can clarify together whether the treatment is possible for you.

What is the difference between powder brows and microblading?
Powder brows use a shading technique for a soft, filled-in result. Microblading uses fine strokes that imitate individual hairs. Powder brows suit every skin type, including oily skin.
Does the treatment hurt, and how does healing go?
Most clients describe the treatment more as a light scratching or pressure. For the first few days the brows look darker and stronger, then they become lighter over about 7 to 10 days.
Do powder brows look natural?
Yes. Powder brows are completely individual, from a soft, barely visible shading to a more defined look. The shape is adapted to your face first, so the result enhances your features and doesn’t look harsh.
How long do powder brows last?
About 1 to 2 years, depending on skin type, care and sun exposure. After that you can refresh the colour with a touch-up.
